Real Madrid playmaker Mesul Ozil has fuelled speculation that Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero could be set to join Jose Mourinho's men, by stating the No.10 shirt is being reserved for the Argentine international.

Aguero looks set to depart Atletico this summer, with several of Europe's big clubs interested in the striker.

Madrid appear to be in the driving seat for the player, after Aguero declared he would prefer to stay in Spain. Atletico's arch-rivals would be in a position to meet the €45 million buy-out clause necessary to take 'El Kun' away from his team of five years.

Ozil, who enjoyed an impressive debut season at the Bernabeu, has declared that the club will give the No.10 shirt to Aguero if he signs this summer.

"Madrid have reserved the number 10 shirt for Aguero," the German international told Saz Aktuell.

The Real Madrid man's comments have cast further doubt over Lassana Diarra's future in the Spanish capital, with the former Portsmouth midfielder being linked with a summer move to Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Juventus.

Aguero enjoyed a profilic season for Atletico, scoring a total of 27 goals in 41 appearances for the La Liga outfit.

Maicon, Pastore, Sanchez & More - Part II Of The Serie A Stars Who Could Be Leaving Their Clubs This Summer

The European transfer season is in full swing, and Goal.com works its way through the main Serie A stars who could be on the move between now and the end of August

With the European season for 2010-11 now over, the attention has inevitably shifted to the summer transfer market. From now until the window closes on August 31, every club on the continent will be working around the clock in an attempt to strengthen their squads for 2011-12.

As always, Goal.com will provide the very best transfer news, exclusives and analysis that you can find on the web. In order to prepare you for the weeks ahead, we will be working our way through every major European league and presenting a list of the big-name players who could leave, with their respective probabilities of departing.

Our series will cover the Dutch Eredivisie, English Premier League, French Ligue 1, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A and Spanish La Liga.

This particular feature focuses on Serie A. Champions Milan have already acquired Philippe Mexes and Taye Taiwo on free transfers, but are likely to make at least one big-money signing having released Andrea Pirlo to Juventus - the rebuilding Bianconeri have also snapped up Reto Ziegler while preparing to splash the cash elsewhere.

Inter will be looking to gain the initiative again after losing their Serie A crown, and one of their main targets has been Alexis Sanchez from Udinese. The Zebrette face a tricky task trying to keep hold of their star players. Elsewhere, the new American ownership at Roma ensures some heavy investment, while Napoli need to bring in some quality if they are to impress in the Champions League.

Below we look at some of Serie A's biggest names who could join the likes of Pirlo and Mexes through the exit door, adding the remaining big names to our candidates from Part I.

Per cent chance of leaving: 55%

Two very impressive seasons for the Biancocelesti have resulted in Lichtsteiner becoming one of the most talked-about full-backs on the peninsula after he helped Lazio to within a whisker of the Champions League last term.

After being chased by Inter in 2010 when it appeared that Maicon was set for an exit, the Swiss has this year come into Juventus' view, and they now face a decision over whether to sign the Lazio star or Andreas Beck from Hoffenheim. There is also a chance they could purchase both, meaning he's more likely to be in Turin than Rome come September.

As exclusively revealed by Goal.com yesterday, both club and player are ready for a parting of the ways after the Brazilian's star fell right out of the sky in 2010-11. Gone are the days of the Nerazzurri demanding €30 million for the right-back, as they look set to cut their losses.

They are still banking on Jose Mourinho wanting to work with Maicon again, but much may depend on decisions made in Madrid regarding the future of Kaka. As a result, there's a fair chance they may be stuck with the fading attacking full-back for another year at least.

Magnificent on his day, Menez's only real sticking point in his three years in the capital has been his inconsistency, and interim coach Vincenzo Montella's decision not to rely on his occasional brilliance has meant that both parties are primed for a transfer.

Liverpool and Arsenal are the front runners for his signature, but Manchester United have also been credited with an interest as a spell in the Premier League appears to be an overwhelming probability for the former Monaco man. What does appear certain is that he won't be a Roma player when the 2011-12 season starts.

FABRIZIO MICCOLI

One year on from his knee ligament injury against Sampdoria in May 2010, Fabrizio Miccoli's season again ended in tears last month, but this time it was at the realisation that his four-year love affair with Palermo has reached its natural conclusion.

Having also cried when scoring a goal against boyhood heroes Lecce which put the Salentini in danger of relegation, there is a fair chance they'll pounce on his availability. However, Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini's assertion that “maybe he’s looking for a club that can guarantee a juicy pay-packet" suggests a rumoured move to Dubai could well be on the cards.

DIEGO MILITO

Interested clubs: Genoa, Tottenham, Real Madrid
Per cent chance of leaving: 40%

After the heaven of 2009-10 came the personal hell of 2010-11 for Diego Milito as fitness and form deserted him in equal measure to leave him playing second fiddle to Giampaolo Pazzini by the end of the season.

With his natural place at Inter now seemingly being closer to the bench than to the key centre-forward role, there have been many clubs credited with an interest in the Argentine. Former side Genoa appear to be the favourites right now, but there's still a good chance that Milito will look for one last crack at San Siro in order to leave the Nerazzurri on better terms next summer.

Fiorentina's slow start to 2010-11 rendered the campaign something of a blow-out and has proved the straw that broke the camel's back for club skipper Montolivo, who has announced that he is now looking to leave Tuscany in a bid to make the next step up in his career.

His next move appears likely to be in the direction of Milan, though it is unclear which of the two San Siro giants is in the driving seat. Inter may well see him as a perfect set-up man for Giampaolo Pazzini, who has formerly been a team-mate at both Atalanta and the Viola. Meanwhile, the Rossoneri have made no secret of their intention to bring in another high profile midfielder. Juventus have shown some interest, but their overloaded squad would need to be shorn before they could find space for the Italy international.

Though he was a valuable addition to the Nerazzurri midfield under Jose Mourinho, successors Rafael Benitez and Leonardo have found the Italo-Brazilian much less easy to accommodate in the centre. His similarity to Esteban Cambiasso in both starting position and passing tendencies have meant that it was always going to lead to one or the other leaving.

After links with neighbours Milan earlier in the summer there remains a slight chance that he'll swap blue stripes for red ones. However, Roma have recently entered the fray and currently appear to be joint-favourites for his signature with Zenit St. Petersburg, coached by former Giallorossi tactician Luciano Spalletti.

The midfielder's agony at Sampdoria's stunning drop into Serie B was plain to see at the end of the season but, while his initial reaction has been to pledge his future to the club in their bid for a quick return, don't be surprised to see him snapped up by a top flight outfit before August 31.

Former club Fiorentina attracted the strongest links to Palombo during the run-in and now with Montolivo on the verge of an exit there is a fresh need to add midfield resources. Napoli are also thought to be fans of the Blucerchiati skipper, but neither club have made their interest official.

Fantastic in the opening few months of the season but more subdued thereafter, it appears that Pastore's growth at Palermo has reached a ceiling and he looks certain to leave this summer.

With interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona having faded, it seems likely that he'll stay in the peninsula. However, there was recent talk of potential interest from Chelsea, though president Maurizio Zamparini contradicted his previous claims that he'd rejected a €50m offer by saying: "How could anyone turn down €50m cash for Pastore? I never saw such an offer." Roma are set to make a move once the club's new structure is finalised, with Milan and Inter watching developments closely.

One of the biggest casualties of Sampdoria's slump was the Italy under-21 international. Amid a group of experienced players failing to pull the club out of a stupor, the energetic midfielder saw his form suffer badly, particularly as both Domenico Di Carlo and Alberto Cavasin decided to select Fernando Tissone ahead of him on occasion.

Inter seem set to make a move this summer, although interest from Milan and Juventus also needs to be taken seriously. The Nerazzurri were reported as early as February as being set to offer €10m for the former Sassuolo man, but with Samp's subsequent relegation there may be the opportunity to get him on the cheap, and Poli's agent Carlo Pallavicino encouraged a bid in March when he said his client "dreams of playing for a big club".

A superb opening term in Emilia-Romagna has led to much interest in the Uruguayan all across Europe and in April he was allegedly the subject of a €17.5m bid from Manchester City, though this was denied by his club.

His form tailed off along with that of his club over the final two months of the season, and with Bologna's precarious financial accounts there could still be interest in any bid around €10m, and Inter are thought to consider him as a cheap alternative to Alexis Sanchez, who now appears to be slipping from view.

The star of the Serie A season and the hottest property in Europe, Sanchez was the catalyst behind an explosive Udinese side reaching the Champions League. Almost inevitably, though, he will not represent the club on the continent as a summer move is a certainty.

He appears forever closer to making the move to Barcelona, who have shaken off the pursuit of Inter and latterly Juventus. The Blaugrana first stepped into the chase for the Chilean in January, as revealed by Goal.com, and are now on the verge of completing a deal. Manchester City had been tracking the winger as well, but coach Attilio Lombardo recently claimed he would not suit the Premier League. That would leave the two Italian giants in a head-to-head were negotiations in Catalunya to fall through.

After catapulting the Nerazzurri to an unprecedented treble in 2010, last season he was blighted by injury, illness and lethargy as his ability to dictate a result was evidenced less often than in his first term in Lombardy. He still contributed regularly to Inter victories, but there was a greater sense of frustration about some of his displays second time around, leading to speculation he could be on the move again.

Much has been made of his apparent suitability to the style of play employed by Manchester United but as yet there has been no concrete interest from the Premier League champions, despite reports he will ponder a switch to the Red Devils while holidaying in California. Meanwhile, neighbours City also have a liking for the Dutchman but their interest is comparatively minor at this point.

In his fifth season in the peninsula Vargas suffered from niggling injuries more than at any other time with either Catania or Fiorentina, and with the Viola struggling in his absence - and that of Stevan Jovetic - he could well seek a fresh start.

While Inter have long been linked with a move for the Peruvian, Juventus could well make an approach if their planned move for Lyon's Michel Bastos doesn't come to fruition. There's still a good chance he could be persuaded to stay on though, but that could well depend on assurances over the club's summer moves in their quest to bring Champions League football back to Florence.

The 2010-11 season saw Viviano enjoy another successful loan stint with Bologna, while he also established himself as Italy's second-choice goalkeeper behind Gianluigi Buffon. The Emiliani's slump upon reaching the 40-point mark affected his form, but he remains one of the country's leading No.1s.

Inter are reportedly happy to allow the keeper to extend his stay with the Rossoblu for two more years before using him as a natural successor to Julio Cesar, but the interest of Lazio and particularly Roma could result in them calling him back early from his co-owners and allowing him to fight it out with the Brazilian. However, Viviano has made it clear he has no interest in second fiddle and wants a fair crack of the whip wherever he ends up playing next season.

Though 2010-11 did not see the Montenegrin scale the heights of the previous 12 months, his stock has remained high despite Roma's drop in form and he may well see this summer as his final chance to spend his peak years challenging for honours.

That opinion is likely to see him take the interest of Inter and Juventus in particular seriously, while Fiorentina are also showing their hand. While the player's agent Alessandro Lucci has denied any talks with the Viola having taken place, the latest reports from the peninsula suggest that the Old Lady have met with Lucci in a bid to secure him a move to Turin.

Kaka, Nani, Van Persie Launch adiPower Predator

van-Persie-Kaka-Nani-adiPower-Predator-Launch
The new Adidas adiPower Predator was officially launched at a celebrity packed event in London earlier today. International stars including Kaká (Real Madrid), Nani (Manchester United), Robin van Persie (Arsenal), Jack Rodwell (Everton), JonJo Shelvey (Liverpool), Fernando Llorente (Athletic Club Bilbao) and Riccardo Montolivo (Fiorentina) took part in unveiling the 11th version of the Predator.
The most important thing I got from the launch was some pretty clear details on how the new Predator element functions. Basically, Adidas has re-engineered the technology to perfect ball handling/control. Featured on the medial side of the cleat, the Predator Element is an injected silicon-rubber component welded onto the base material that features two specific zones.  One zone is designed to improve spin and power when striking the ball, while the second zone maximizes contact time with the ball to ensure perfect control no matter what weather conditions you are playing in.

Also, Adidas confirmed that the adiPower Predator weighs in at 8.2oz, just as I stated when they were released. The integrated revolutionary Sprint Frame outsole construction featured in the adiZero F50 actually reduces the weight of the cleat by 25%.
If you are want to catch some MLS stars wearing the cleats, watch out for Omar Gonzalez of the LA Galaxy, Kenny Cooper of the Portland Timbers, Shalrie Joseph of the New England Revolution and Teal Bunbury of Sporting Kansas Cit

Real Madrid fitness coach Valter Di Salvo claims the club's top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo can emulate formerManchester United team-mate Ryan Giggs and play into his late 30's.

Ronaldo has enjoyed a superb season on a personal level, breaking the La Liga goalscoring record in the process, netting 40 times to overtaking Hugo Sanchez' 38.

However, the 26 year old had to settle for a Copa del Rey winner's medal in 2011, with Madrid coming up short in their pursuit of La Liga and Champions League glory.

Di Salvo, who joined the Spanish giants from Manchester United in the summer of 2003 is also adamant Ronaldo's big money move to the Bernabeu in 2009 will turn out to be a bargain.

"It is difficult to say where the ceiling is for Ronaldo because he never gives up. I think he will play upto 38 years at the top. Like [Ryan] Giggs, he is a professional and an example for all his companions," the fitness coach told Marca.

"I think that Madrid made a cheap signing because he will play at the highest standard for many years and he will give a lot for Madrid."

The Italian coach believes Ronaldo's professionalism when it comes to looking after his body is the reason why he will enjoy a prolonged career.

"I know Ronaldo well. He is a maverick, he loves to work hard. He doesn't just watch his diet, he takes care of everything. He measures everything he eats, what he drinks and has hours of rest," he added.

Ronaldo has scored a total of 86 goals for Madrid in 89 games since his arrival from the Premier League two years ago.

Superstar Lionel Messi has blitzed Real Madrid.
Messi's sublime double lifted Barcelona to a 2-0 win over bitter rivals Real Madrid and lit up an acrimonious Champions League semi-final first leg in which the hosts finished with 10 men and had coach Jose Mourinho sent off.

Bad blood had flowed between the sides in the lead-up to the match, their third meeting in just over a week, and it spilled on to the pitch as the players trooped off at the break.

Mourinho, who unleashed a sustained rant at his press conference in which he accused UEFA of favouring Barca, was sent to the stands for protesting the decision.
Messi's goals, his 10th and 11th in 11 games in this edition of Europe's elite club competition, gave Barca a huge advantage to take back to the Nou Camp next week.
The 23-year-old sped into the penalty area to meet Ibrahim Afellay's low cross from the right and steer the ball past Iker Casillas from close range to break the deadlock.

Guardiola, who refused to respond to Mourinho's remarks about UEFA, warned his players that they still had a good deal of work to do in the second leg and said you could never write off the nine-times winners.
"We played a very, very good match," he told a news conference.
"We controlled the speed of their counterattacks and their aerial game which is very powerful," he added. "We got a good result and I congratulate the team."
The Real fans turned the giant arena into a sea of white flags before kickoff, while several thousand Barca faithful waving Catalan banners high up in the stands tried to make themselves heard above the din.
Real tore into Barca and stopped them playing in the first half of last week's King's Cup final, which the Madrid club won 1-0, but it was a different story on Wednesday as Barca controlled without showing too much ambition in attack.
David Villa [ Images ] cut in from the right wing in the 11th minute and sent a low drive whistling past the post and Messi sent Xavi [ Images ] clear in the 25th but his effort was straight at Casillas.
The home side's best effort of the first half came moments before the break when Cristiano Ronaldo [ Images ] tested Victor Valdes [ Images ] with a swerving effort the Barca keeper just managed to block.
The second half was short on the kind of entertaining football Real and Barca typically produce as the visitors again dominated possession without ever really threatening the home goal until Messi took matters into his own hands.
Mourinho said his team had no chance of reaching the final and suggested that even if they managed to score a goal at the Nou Camp the referee would somehow prevent them going through.
"We will go there with all the pride and respect for our world of football," the Portuguese added.
"We might score a goal and that would open up the game but they (UEFA) will kill us again."
In Tuesday's first semi-final, English Premier League leaders Manchester United [ Images ] won 2-0 at Bundesliga side Schalke 04. The final is at London's [ Images ] Wembley stadium on May 28.
